For more than a decade, the Maine Suitcase Party has been one of Southern Maine’s most distinctive and anticipated philanthropic events, bringing together community leaders, corporate partners, philanthropists, and adventure seekers for an unforgettable evening benefiting Camp Sunshine.
In 2026, the event will be set along the backdrop of the Maine coast and inspired by the timeless elegance of yacht culture, this year’s Maine Suitcase Party invites guests to “Set Sail for Sunshine” and will be an elevated waterfront experience centered around surprise, escape, and impact.
Guests will arrive prepared for adventure, immersed in an evening of coastal sophistication, dockside cocktails, live entertainment, curated culinary experiences, and the signature spontaneity that has defined the Maine Suitcase Party since its inception.

Camp Sunshine provides hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Casco, Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. Camp Sunshine is where families can focus on recharging, together, in a safe space with medical support available. Camp Sunshine is where families discover a community who understands.
